Skating for scholarships
The Chuck Burch Scholarship Fund is excited to host a unique Scholarship Fundraising event.
Please join us at Southern Skates Roller Rink, 2939 E. Ledbetter (Loop 12 and Bonnie View) in Dallas for "Skating for Scholarships" on Friday December 27th from 8pm to 12 midnight.
ALL proceeds go to Scholarships for local area students. This is the 6th Annual event and is guaranteed to be a "Family Friendly, people watchers paradise just in time for the Holidays". Chuck and his friends are encouraging you and those in your circle to Roller Skate away those Holiday pounds for a great cause, EDUCATION.

Dallas Mavs African American Heritage Night
Join us on February 8th, 2019 as we celebrate our 20th Annual African American Heritage Night.
Come enjoy a halftime performance by the world famous Southern University “Human Jukebox” Marching Band while the Dallas Mavericks take on the Milwaukee Bucks.
DJ Steve Nice will be spinning on the 1’s and 2’s at both the pregame and postgame parties.

This is the Annual Joint collaboration between The Chuck Burch Scholarship Fund and the DFW Chapter of the NC A&T Alumni Association.
Attendees include:
- NC A&T Alumni, Friends and Family
- Current A&T Students in town on Internships and Co Op
- Incoming Freshmen and their Families
- Interested High School students and their families
Last year there were nearly 100 attendees and we expect over 100 this year. We awarded $12,000.00 in scholarships and we expect the same or more this year.
Looking forward to seeing YOU on Saturday July 28th at 5 pm in DeSoto.

School Supply Drive for Ronald McNair Elementary School
Located in a low income community, many families are unable to afford both school supplies and uniforms for their children and they end up choosing one over the other.
As education is very important, we believe that students should come to school with no burdens allowing them to focus on their studies and gain meaningful learning experiences. By donating, you can give a student opportunity towards success.
The school supplies and uniforms will be dropped off at Ronald E. McNair Elementary School on the first day of the 2018-2019 school year. LEARN MORE >>>
