make a difference...

The North Carolina A&T State University Alumni Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter is pleased to host a school supply drive for the students at Ronald E. McNair Elementary School in Dallas, TX.

The school is located  in a low income community and often times, families have to prioritize what to spend their money on - uniforms or school supplies. Students shouldn't have to choose between the two fundamental tools that are critical to their academic success. Help us make a difference in the community that we work, live and play.

Donate school supplies or money to the students of Ronald E. McNair elementary school. By donating, you can give students an opportunity towards success. Additionally, your contributions will help us honor the life of Dr. Ronald McNair - physicist, astronaut & fellow alum - who was killed when the Challenger Space Shuttle exploded in 1986..

How can you help?

There are two options to contributing:

  1. Make a financial donation by completing the form below and sending money via PayPal (instructions follow once you complete the form) by Saturday, July 28th. All funds donated will be used by the chapter to make school supply purchases on behalf of the donors.
  2. Purchase requested school supplies on the right and bring to the 4th Annual Alumni Picnic on Saturday, July 28th.

All school supplies and uniforms will be dropped off at Ronald E. McNair Elementary School on the first day of class.
